Columbia Gas of Ohio Inc. said Thursday its June price for natural gas will again remain below 30 cents per 100 cubic feet for the third consecutive month, something that has never occurred since the era of customer choice in Ohio began in 1997.
The utility said its Standard Choice Offer price for its residential customers in June will be 28 cents per 100 cubic feet, down one cent from May and down 10 cents from last year. The new price is based on the most recent Nymex market rate of 17 cents per 100 cubic feet, plus 11 cents for a state-approved service fee.
