CLEVELAND, May 19 — Dominion Energy Ohio (DEO) today held a ribbon cutting to signify the launch of its hydrogen blending pilot in Boston Heights, Ohio. The start of the pilot is part of Dominion Energy’s vision to become the most sustainable energy company in America. This is the second of three pilots taking place companywide. The other two are in North Carolina and Utah.
Dominion Energy is investing in hydrogen early exploring how it can help achieve net zero emissions by 2050. Our hydrogen blending will also simultaneously help decarbonize other industries like transportation, manufacturing, and power generation. The pilot will focus on hydrogen use in homes and businesses.
